Typically, users of safety knives with automatic blade return needed to be trained to release the blade slider during the cut in order to enable the auto-retract function. Only minimal training is necessary. The ingenious mechanism within the MAXISAFE will automatically return the blade to the safe position at the end of each cut regardless of the position of the blade slider.
