New Logo and new claim, new colours and new names – MARTOR has adjusted a lot of screws to re-position itself as a quality brand. The fresh appearance is accompanied by a strong focus on the essential: on you!

 

MARTOR is the leading international partner for safe cutting solutions. The Solingen-based family company has been associated with innovation in the manufacture of premium cutting tools for industrial and professional purposes for more than 70 years.

MARTOR focuses primarily on the safety knife industry. They are “safety knives” because in addition to the excellent cutting performance and well thought through ergonomics, they are also equipped with TÜV-tested safety technologies. Large commercial enterprises, logistics providers and automotive groups, to name but a few, have been able to use MARTOR products to reduce the number of cutting accidents among their employees to a minimum.

But MARTOR’s claim is not only to provide its customers with the optimal equipment, but also to make continuous improvements to the existing products. This is why MARTOR is modernising its brand presence. You can experience the “new MARTOR” at A+A from 5 to 8 November 2013 in Düsseldorf. Over 170 square metres at Stand 6G24 in Hall 06, MARTOR will present its new brand world for the first time. As part of this, you can expect the MARTOR test stations where you can put the various different cutting tools through their paces.

What’s new at MARTOR? The first thing that stands out is the new MARTOR logo. What is most striking about this is the raised “a”. In future, the cutting tools will not only bear this logo in a clearly visible manner, large parts of them will also be manufactured in the company colour of cyan. But the new brand presence goes well beyond the design: in the future, MARTOR will focus even more on the essentials: safety and comfort for and use by its customers. For example, all safety knives will get a new “first name”, which provides information on the safety technology which is built in: SECUMAX, SECUPRO and SECUNORM. This will make it even easier for customers to find what they need in the product range. These and many other elements of the service show that the new brand slogan can be understood first and foremost not as a challenge but rather as a promise to the customer: “Enjoy Safety made in Solingen”.

Convincing evidence of the MARTOR safety experience is also provided by the new products which the company is presenting at A+A. This includes the multi-purpose disposable SECUMAX 150 knife and the particularly handy and comfortable SECUNORM 175 box opener. The SECUMAX 350 will also premiere here – an innovative safety knife with a concealed blade and a changeable cartridge which is suitable both for cutting foils, plastic strappings and cardboard up to two layers and for slitting through adhesive tape.

In addition to their refreshing design, the new products have one thing in common above all: they are consistently planned and constructed from the user’s perspective, so the comfortable handling, versatility and reliable protection of people and goods mean you can work in a particularly safe, effective and relaxed manner.
